THE HISTORY

In her native Barcelona and after studying gemology, Sita began working in jewelry with her father. Her concern for doing different things, developing her ideas, playing with materials and shapes in order to make pieces without limitations lead her to the world of costume jewellery. After more than 20 years working for big brands, in 2011 Sita created her namesake brand by opening her first store in Barcelona. Sita's authentic and close personality and her way of understanding costume jewelery as a fundamental accessory capable of making us special and unique have been the inspiration for many of the brand's iconic pieces, such as the rock crystal maxi necklace. The Sita Nevado collection is now made up of a complete line of accessories that includes, in addition to a very extensive line of costume jewellery, a wide variety of bags and other small accessories. Then, as now, the idea that costume jewelery is an accessory that does not require a special occasion but can be combined with a T-shirt and jeans and worn on a daily basis remains central to the brand's identity.
